Over at The National Post, I'm heartened to see commenter "venosta98" is enjoying my column. He writes:

"Tickets to see Mark Steyn perform at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on April 24 are available,,"I hope he is a good "performer", he sure as h--- has nothing else going for him.

Indeed. If you haven't yet got your Steynamite tickets, it's all in a good cause: I'm raising awareness of what a waste of time 90 per cent of awareness-raising is. However, I see that the big night - April 24th - is by happy coincidence also Hate Crime Awareness Day in Alberta. They'll be having a Moment of Silence for the three years the province spent going nowhere investigating Ezra Levant for publishing a cartoon, and a Candlelight Vigil for the tragic loss of their lifetime publication ban on the Rev Stephen Bossoin at the appeals court.

Yet, moving and dignified as those events are sure to be, I don't think there's any better way of raising awareness of Hate Crime Awareness Day than by coming along to the Metro Centre to see a bona fide hate crime in action.
