The Future Belongs to Those who Show Up

Programming note: Tomorrow Mark will be on the air with the Thursday replay of his Serenade Radio Song of the Week. That's at 9pm British Summer Time/4pm North American Eastern. You can listen from anywhere on the planet right here.

In tonight's special edition of The Mark Steyn Show, we explore one of the abiding themes of Mark's writing and broadcasting these last two decades - demography and its discontents. This is a big-picture show - indeed, the biggest picture of all, based on what Steve Sailer calls the most important graph of our time. We begin with Steyn pondering its significance, after which we revisit three expert guests:

First, Paul Morland, author of Tomorrow's People: The Future of Humanity in Ten Numbers. If you think the borders of America and Europe are porous now, give it another decade.

Next up is Louise Perry, author of The Case Against the Sexual Revolution, on why the most prosperous societies in history have given up on the future.

And we close with Edward Paice, author of Youthquake: Why African Demography Should Matter to the World, looking ahead to a planet in which one continent accounts for half the world's young people.

Image~Among many casualties of the Covid years is free speech in the western world. Despite his health issues, Steyn is the first presenter in a decade-and-a-half to push back and sue the UK media censor Ofcom. You can read more on the case here. Many viewers have written to ask how they can support this important lawsuit in the English High Court. Well, there are multiple ways, including:

a) signing up a friend for a Steyn Club Gift Membership;

b) buying a loved one a SteynOnline gift certificate; or

c) purchasing a copy of Mark's new book, pictured above. You won't regret it.

~Among the benefits of Mark Steyn Club membership is that you can enjoy The Mark Steyn Show in any medium you desire: video, audio or text.
