~It was a busy weekend at SteynOnline. As the summer sports and movies and concerts have all been nixed, Kathy Shaidle's Saturday picture date went for Christmas in July, and our Sunday song special found Mark in conversation with Dana and Paul Simon on Eurovision, homosexual fantasies, and the Hong Kong Blues. Steyn's Monday-morning column mourned the loss of a not-so-happy warrior. Our marquee presentation was the above-mentioned Tale for Our Time - Mark's contemporary inversion of Anthony Hope's classic The Prisoner of Zenda: An unemployed Ruritanian king subs for a British prime minister at a Pride Parade here, accidentally blows up the European Union here, and finds himself at a Coronation Ball here, with a guest appearance from the Canadian prime minister. If you've missed the first episode, you can always start at the beginning and have a good old binge-listen. If you were too busy burning down Portland, I hope you'll want to check out one or three of the foregoing as the new week gets into its stride.
