Greetings one and all, and welcome to this week's edition of Laura's Links.
We talked a little bit last week about the beginning of the end of trans, mostly because of the beginning of the era of the lawsuits. Having watched the campaign of attempted murder of Mark via the "justice" system in America (dare I call it attempted justicide?) over the past decade plus, I'm a skeptic about the American system. To be fair, I'm suspicious of pretty much all the legal systems in all allegedly civilized countries nowadays. The Canadian system is rife with ridiculous progressivism, wokeness and epidemic soft on crime judges. The Israeli Supreme Court is a judicial junta. The Australian system doesn't seem great and Europe is pathetic.
So we have the fact of the lawsuits happening and money (sums which can never be enough for the permanent, irreversible and unnecessary mutilation that was rendered) is being handed over. The other thing that is happening is that more stories of "de-transitioners" are being shared publicly. I really have to give Elon Musk credit for this as well. If that bearded leftoid Jack whatshisname was still the owner of Twitter (now X) then I don't think we would be hearing anything at all about the dark side of the "trans" phenomenon. Obviously, Musk has a personal interest in putting the nail in the coffin of trans, as one of his children was "transed" ("male to female").
Anyway, I've seen quite a few parents and young adults online talking about their stories. It's absolutely heartbreaking. The trans industry and all its parts (social, medical, academic, media) is a deeply, deeply evil enterprise and it needs to stop.
I saw this post on X from Dr. Naomi Wolfe, who is obviously extremely disturbed about what has been wrought upon innocent girls and boys. On the story of a "detransitioner" giving birth, she says: "The female body is a miracle and it is delicately ordered and childbirth is a miracle when all is left as it should be and medical professionals should never have pretended to patients that one can just 'switch genders' back and forth and still have sexuality and reproductive capability."
The male body is a miracle as well. Human life is a sacred miracle.
This is why the "trans" movement is one of the most evil medical experiments in human history - arguably the most.
There is an element here that is, on some level, even darker than the medical experiments of the Nazis. The idea that man can reverse the biological sex of a human is so outrageous and so blasphemous and idolatrous that it is a direct repudiation of G-d and the holy act of the creation of human life.
The creation of human life has three partners; mother, father and G-d. It is the ultimate insult to G-d, an insult to men and women and sinister, arrogant folly to pretend that man has godly powers. Most of the people who profited from this evil pretended that man could change a person's sex. But there is a core group (including many of the surgeons in particular) who I believe truly think they are gods.
Again, this is why the Pope meeting with "trans" persons was an act of unforgivable arrogance wrapped in alleged caring. It was an anti-human act of the first order.
As a woman who nursed her children, I have to say that the idea of a woman's milk coming in and having no way to express it because of evil, Satanic medical malfeasance and ghoulish experimentation on her body, is one a truly gruesome, and horrifying image of torture. This image pains my soul.

I don't want to leave you on a complete downer, so I thought I would share this video which kind of explains how we got here. This is a great example of the epidemic ("systemic") stupidity of our young people in the West. This is what you get when the political left successfully marches through the institutions. This guy is so utterly painfully stupid and ignorant yet almost impossibly arrogant and confident. This is what we are up against, the era of the dumbkopf word salad generation.

Lastly, talk to me about California, NYC and Miami!
Some VIPs of mine are planning a first ever trip to America, including a drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles and a stop in Florida and New York. I'm interested in hearing recommendations from Mark Steyn Club members about what to see and what to do along the Pacific Highway drive and in the Miami and NYC area. Please drop any suggestions you may have in the comments and I'll collate them for my people.
Many thanks in advance and I'll see you in the comments!

Europe:
"It's true that after coming back from certain countries to France, you can say to yourself: 'My God, what have they done to our country? And it's true that Poland is still Poland, while France is no longer France. The reality is this. The Poland of 40 years ago is the same as the Poland of today. France today is nothing like the France of 40 years ago. And immigration, of course, is partly responsible for this."
As Mark says: "We're in the end game now."
Sweden seems like a really great place now with all the diversity and stuff.
