Happy Mothering Sunday to our readers in the UK, Ireland and beyond!
Don't forget to tune in later today to Mark's ongoing audio adaptation of his bestselling book America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It. In case you missed it, here's last week's episode. A new episode will be available later this morning.
It's been a sporty week here at SteynOnline. Clubbers continue to hotly debate the latest U.S. foreign intervention, with some even disagreeing with Mark! Despite the voluminous opinions, the moderators have appreciated the seriousness with which Club members are taking this issue and (mostly) maintaining civilized debate. That is the foundation of a free society, and we're all very lucky to enjoy that freedom every day regardless of differences of opinion – especially here in the Mark Steyn Club.
To that end, we were especially touched by Steve's note:
Mark, Thank you for a brilliant Q&A delivered under incredibly difficult circumstances.
There is no one – not a single person – in the Steyn Club ranks who wants you to risk having what you called your "next crise cardiaque." We all appreciate your well-founded concern that, with Iran, the US could be blundering into another 20-year disaster. Please don't get too frustrated with those of us who see the crisis from a different angle and please, above all, take to heart what your docs are telling you.
We all look forward to seeing you in October on the next Mark Steyn Cruise! Meanwhile – Stay safe. Stay free.
Exactly! Thank you, Steve!

Meanwhile, in case you missed it, here's how the rest of the week looked at SteynOnline:
~ Last night concluded Mark's reading of The Quest of the Sacred Slipper, which kept Clubbers guessing until the end! If you missed it, you can listen here.
~ Clubbers got to enjoy Mark's reflections on a Club favorite (and personal fav), Wichita Lineman, on Steyn's Song of the Week.
~ Monday got started much the same as the week before, with Week Two of the War Against/On/Insert Your Own Preposition Iran.
~ On Tuesday, Mark declared, "I was pro-Trump months if not years before most people reading this – July 10th 2015, to be precise."
~ Wednesday, Mark hosted Clubland Q&A, reminding some listeners of the Rush days and responding to questions from Mark Steyn Club members live around the planet. If you missed it, you can always catch up here.
~ Laura Rosen Cohen was back on Thursday, with her always brilliant analysis and links from far and wide. If you missed it, check it One Step at a Time.
~ We kicked off the weekend with Mark's Friday column, "The Impermanence of Dominance", going back to the good ol' days of 2003.
~ And finally, Saturday was a busy day prepping for the Academy Awards, featuring our good friend, Rick McGinnis of Rick's Flicks, with a 1941 classic, The Philadelphia Story,
~ Mark was also getting into the Oscar groove in this week's episode of Mark Steyn on the Town.
Don't forget to tune-in later today for Steyn's Song of the Week at Serenade Radio at 5:30pm Greenwich Mean Time/ 1:30pm North American Eastern Time.
