The problematic history of the Jews.
Are the Jews too good for their own good? After the construction of Israel the Arabs have seen numerous times that they cannot beat them militarily. The Russian revolution was to a large degree driven by Jews, so seen with a twist the Holocaust was revenge og punishment for the invention of a communist power state. Today they are blamed by the entire liberal world for the retaliations after the attack by the Arabs on October 7. Obviously the Jews should not become less smart, its the Arabs and ayatollahs who must accept the facts, at least ignore them?

I think we should, as many of our national interests align now. If we have a better relationship, it may take some wind out of the Europeans' seemingly headlong rush to war.

You would think that the financial powers that be would already be trying to put on the brakes of this war juggernaut to protect their own bottom line. Maybe they are, behind the scenes, but no results yet. And as always, there are the suspicions some of the unscrupulous among them are using the turmoil to make a dishonest buck, sub rosa. Vultures can find an opportunity anywhere, any time.

I have heard some commentators suggest that if the US can shut down all traffic in Hormuz, the Iranians will run out of storage facilities for their oil and need to shut down drilling. Keeping this up for 6 months would, apparently, create such enormous economic pressure that regime collapse becomes likely, but even failing that, it will create favourable negotiating conditions for the US.
Is it your position that the theocrats aren't susceptible to collapse through mere economic meltdown due to the tyrannous nature of their control and, if so, how does the nature of their tyranny differ from the Soviet regime that collapsed in the late 1980s? If your answer is that the US won't be able to create such economic meltdown in 6 months, then it would be interesting to hear why you think the theory I quoted above is fanciful.
Thanks.

What did you think about this excerpt from Trump's regal day with the King:
"In recent years we have often heard it said that America is merely 'an idea' — but the cause of freedom did not simply appear as an intellectual invention of 1776. The American founding was the culmination of hundreds of years of thought, struggle, sweat, blood, and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic."
Trump showed more pride in the Anglo-Saxon heritage than almost any elected official there, perhaps more than the King, himself (who kept inserting "diversity is our strength" platitudes in all his many royal speeches).
Say what you will about this Iranian excursion, POTUS is rekindling the embers of Western civilization on both sides of the pond, right?

I don't know how much you get to read the news of the day, but here are a couple of items I would like you to comment on.
First- how is it possible that in UK you can actually run for office without showing your face or body identity? I wish I could post a photo of this creature but I'm sure readers can find it elsewhere. Just when you think that things can't get any crazier....
"Some politicians are accused of being two-faced, but one candidate for office in the UK has no face. Fajila Patel wants to be the first faceless politician by getting elected wearing a burka.
Newspapers claim that Fajila is 36-years-old and a mother of four, but critics argue that it could really be anyone under there. Her 'Niqab'is one of the most extreme versions of the garment that some people associate with the 'burka' and completely covers "her" from top to bottom.
The question is not an academic one since there really is no way to tell who is wearing the black klansman outfit when campaigning, casting votes or driving down the street."
My second query concerns King Charles (not my King) and his upcoming visit with the anti-Semite, Jew hating, monarch hating Commie Mayor of Nueva York, non other than the Ugandan prince Kwame Mondami.
Mamdani will meet with Charles III and Queen Camilla to lay a wreath at the ceremony for victims of the 9/11 atrocity. Talk about tone deaf!
Asked by a reporter about his impending meeting with King Charles, Mamdani emphasized that he would be attending the public wreath-laying "alongside a number of other elected officials" to "pay tribute to the more than 3,000 people who were killed in the horrific terror attacks of September 11, and that will be the extent of my meeting with the King."
I can fully understand his get together with King (President) Trump, but the other little weasel?? What possessed Charles and his handlers to even think of scheduling something like this?

I liked seeing Trump tell CBS' Nora O'Donnell to her face that she and her "ilk" are POS. However, you can't shame the shameless.
I also liked that the Trump administration is still multi-tasking. It is apparently offering the Wind Industry refunds of their leases if they put the refunds into oil/natural gas development. This after the "Moose Junction" District Court have stymied the halting of some turbine projects.
I'm also starting to change my support (such as it is) from Vance to Rubio. I like Vance, but I'm concerned he will not be as aggressive on immigration and European fascism as Rubio. Your comments (between drone strikes) would be appreciated.

I'm ambivalent as to whether Trump was correct in going to war with Iran at this time. I do think that war would be inevitable at some time, as allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons, I believe, is a threat to America's security. Like you, I recognize that our record in fighting wars in that region is regrettable, and I am unsure if this latest escapade will turn out any better.
While I understand your negativity regarding the war, are you convinced that it will end in disgrace, or do you hold out some semblance of hope that it will work out in our favor? Stay safe from the drones and the Holubsti.

Mark, the video of the would-be assassin in the DC Hilton running down the hall and through the Secret Service check point is particularly vexing. I understand that the man was running fast and that the agents were caught by surprise, but their instinctive reaction to avoid contact with him and to draw their weapons after he sped by looked more like an episode of Keystone Cops than it did an example of the combat mindset necessary to protect the president. My expectation would be they would tackle the man on sight. I cannot get anyone in my circle of friends to agree with me that the episode reflects an utter lack of the mindset and training necessary to fulfill their mission. What say you?

Good evening and good wishes for your health and longevity,
First, as I remarked in a previous Q&A posting you read, I would re-assess my opinion of the Iran "war" should it materially drag on beyond the initial four to six week period. We are about a week from that threshold.
Second, I commend you for continued support of the "sinister in-house jewess" – very few to the Iran action tolerate a different opinion. This speaks highly of you.
Enough with the well wishes, throat clearing, and complements.
You have made some remarks recently strangely at odds with your usually incisive commentary.
You rightly observed that possession of nuclear weapons makes a country effectively invulnerable to invasion. This was Ukraine's mistake – believing in "security guarantees" in exchange for giving up their inherited Soviet Union era nukes.
Iran - starting with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and continuing on through a multitude of agreements, treaties, and promises not the least of which was the Obama-era JCPOA – variously claimed they were only interested in a civilian nuclear power program or would not produce some particular level of U-235 concentration or would not ...
They lie. They always lie. They have a word for justifiable lying to infidels.
Yet you act as if any promise ("they offered much better terms") has any meaning. They never have before and the revelation about the actual range of their ballistic missiles is yet another reminder.
Iran must never be in the position to pursue a nuclear weapon. With the reputed 60% U-235, only a few weeks and a couple of dozen centrifuges are needed to reach 90+% weapons grade U-235. 60% U-235, wrapped around a high explosive, is a dirty IED.
Regarding the resilience of Iran, the "slowly then suddenly" phrase comes to mind. I believe you mentioned Iran having a population of 93 million close to a dozen times last week – as if that were probative of ... what? The Soviet Union had double that population (and much more counting eastern Europe) when it fell due largely to economic pressure from the Reagan administration.
(Your 2,500 character limit mean my remarks about more "kinetic" action regarding mines and deliberate oil spills will have to wait).
We are at the point of maximum economic pressure on Iran. Let it stew.
Now is no time to go wobbly.
Thanks.
