Hello again and welcome back to a fresh batch of Laura's Links.
I've got a whole bunch of bits and pieces to discuss with you all, but first I wanted to remind everyone that I have been warning people about the rapid deterioration of Canada and Canadian civilization for a couple of decades now (at least). The old gang (Mark, Ezra, Kathy Shaidle, "scaramouche", me and a few of the other usual suspects) tried to light a fire under people's tuchuses starting with the "hate speech" and "human rights" issues.
We all took a lot of lumps for that. What followed was years of more activism, writing and blogging and some of the warning shots we fired were fruitful and some were fruitless. All the while, "Conservative" and "Liberal" governments alike began flooding Canada with third world, low-skill/no skill migrants and immigrants along with hundreds of thousands of "temporary" residents. Many (most?) of these third world natives were anti-West and antisemitic. How grand!
Then, as icing on the cake, we hit 2020 and a red curtain (the Liberal Party of Canada and the Communist Party of China) of medical-tyranny was lowered upon us. Not good. And just as life as we knew it started to get a little normal, there was October 7 and the restless Jew-hating, West-hating natives started globalizing the intifada on our doorsteps. And they've moved from Tentifada's on campus to shooting Jewish school and assaulting visible Jews, and now murder (it is definitely a murder, it's just not clear yet if the victim being Jewish was the killer's motivation).
I kept telling you all that it only starts with us, it never stops with us. Again, please point out a society, culture or civilization that has thrived with rabid Jew-hate. I'll wait. As a Gen X child of Canada, I could not have possibly imagined the country I grew up in becoming as filthy and decrepit as it is now.
The decline is accelerating: to wit - this execrable woman-hating freak has just been appointed as Canada's Governor General (do yourselves a favour and take a trip back down memory lane when Mark completely destroyed her at the Munk Debate, and remind yourself how the great Barbara Kay described it).
What people want, with apologies to Barbara Streisand, is the way things were.
People rightly feel in their gut that "this thing is coming for all of us," and have a five word desire that is a proper political manifesto: "I Want Sh*t To Work". Sadly, there is still a dearth of courage in this world, and that vacuum is filled by dark forces and the willing cheerleaders and useful idiots that simply show up.

Two more last bits: this has got to be one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. You could not script it better. It's pulled right out of central Wokestapo casting. I actually did a double take when I read it and started laughing hysterically. I actually can't believe that anyone had the audacity to publish this because it is so ridiculous, but I guess that is really the purpose-to make you swallow the ridiculous, the "ice cream with a little bit of feces" in it as Mark always says, and say OH THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS. Anyway, I don't find this impressive. I mean really BFG. If he/she/they them also were deaf and blind and Muslim then MAAYYYYYYYYYBE MAYBE I would feel differently. NOT ENOUGH BOXES CHECKED.
(OK but on a serious note, it's actually cruel to indulge mental illness.)

Lastly, remembering Andrew Breitbart - may his memory be a blessing. It is a great article and a very touching remembrance. What an inspiring man he was.
