Good evening both,
Following the attempted beheading of a white British man by a Sudanese savage on Monday evening, the British political class has succeeded in uniting Loyalists, Unionists and Nationalists against open borders, despite describing them as "Far Right".
May I urge everyone to get behind Eva Vlaardingerbroek's Save Europe Act and continue to push Remigration into the mainstream?
This is a problem for the whole developed world and past time it was resolved.
Keep well both.

This is a question for Tal, and I mean no disrespect. While I, too would have liked to have seen Trump do more, a recognition of the forces arrayed against him and especially his agenda might be appropriate. I suspected DOGE might fail from its earliest days. The waste and grift is so built into our bureaucracy that much progress against it would close many offices and put unemployed paper pushers into an opposing bloc of substantial size if it were done in any but the most subtle, and well cushioned manner.

Thank you, & sorry for not having

better next time.

What's your take on Carney's leadership? Or lack thereof.

Not defending Trump's failures, but I would find it really hard to go against the constant harassment Trump goes through day in and day out. He is not more corrupt than many other recent American presidents, but I understand the disappointment in his base or those of you looking on from other countries. Be that as it may, I'm wondering what you Canadians think of Maine's political choice for a Democrat candidate?

With movies in the news lately, I wonder if you have any thoughts about the upcoming Spielberg film Disclosure Day. It's being hyped with a true believer sort of spin, catering to those who think that UFOs are already among us. Thing is, any reputable experts I hear of dismiss the whole notion, claiming that we still haven't the slightest evidence of Life outside of Earth. And, more black pill, some say that Life may well be a vanishingly rare phenomenon, like one focus per galaxy type rare. Added to that there's the killjoy Physics of Einstein that puts a stern speed limit on intrasellar travel. The will to believe is strong, but truth is we may be all alone.

Dear Laura and Tal,
Thank you both for sitting in for Mark. The recent hoo-ha concerning the Black Crowes frontman sneering at the USA chants has me wondering again if there is any 'turbulence' at all in the arts. Isn't there anyone, anywhere, prepared to stand up and tell the truth about mass, uncontrolled immigration? Musicians are on the road a lot so they must, in theory, see more of the country and be more in touch than most. Why is this so rarely reflected in their music? I think of the words from Springsteen's masterpiece, Independence Day:
"Well, papa, go to bed now, it's getting late
Nothing we can say can change anything now
'Cause there's just different people coming down here now and they see things in different ways
And soon, everything we've known will just be swept away."

Dear Tal,
I enjoyed your guest posts here a while back. Reading the one about Edward Van Halen, with mention of David Lee Roth flashed me back to a feeling I had that time Mark had said he had "no use for Dinesh d'Sousa", because THAT momen flashed me back to the feeling I had as a teen when David Lee Roth dissed RUSH in the Dallas Times Herald in one sentence: "Rock and roll isn't serious".
But I loved them both! Why oh why, just ahead of the Texas Jam, harsh my enthusiasm? Anyway you'd pointed out that Van Halen's brand was fun, and nobody dances to RUSH, so David Lee wasn't entirely wrong. Still, the trash talking rivalry stung then, as it did with the first throwaway about Dinesh. For some reason trashing of Levin doesn't bother me the same way, despite my having loved him in Old Yeller mode in drive time AM radio. The lawsuit seems a reasonable excuse to want to have at Levin. In the same vein apparently Michael Savage has trash talked Mark too, and I used to enjoy his radio show too.
Is it fair to posit it's irresistible to diss competing pundits like David Lee instinctively dissed RUSH? RUSH was the headliner if memory serves, meaning Van Halen was not.
In any case I am hanging in there with Mark, not joining any stampede out the door over his Iran war doom. This in spite of my main bone to pick with Mark'e characterization of the challenge, Americas failed way of war versus of a nation of 90 million people spread across mountainous terrain as big as Western Europe.
The thing is, over half of those want nothing to do with Islam. Nothing. And another quarter of them want no Islamic government ever again. Based on years of following this saga, I see the next revolution being anti clerical, rhyming with the French Revolution's violent rejection of the ancien regime, which justified much lesser abuses on religious grounds in alliance with the Church.
I believe there is a real opportunity here to see people of Iran have done with the mullahs. Not by making deals with them, but by wrecking them without apology while arming the people. Which probably puts me in the Levin and Lyndsey camp. Let's imagine winning for once. The Iranians aren't Arabs or Pashtuns. Creating an Iran-sized hole in the middle of the Ummah would be a huge win. Like Mark used to say about stability, let's destabilize them back. The Islamic states I mean. Put a thriving secular Persia right in the middle of them.

Greetings from the Islamic Dog-hating Caliphate of Nueva York.
First- I hope that there is good news about the health of our dear brother Mark and hope for his speedy recovery. He is truly missed as you can imagine.
Meanwhile, I would especially like to hear your take on these recent events and to see if you think there's any connection.
1. The latest savagery that took place in Belfast with the attempted beheading of an Irishman on the streets of that city and the subsequent demonstrations by the natives who are of course, beyond being upset. I see news that they are going door to door looking for the "culture enrichers" who have taken over their once fair country.
2. The "in your face" fraud and theft of the elections in California, particularly the ongoing theft of the LA mayor's race from Spencer Pratt who has become known and loved all over the world for his brilliant ideas especially of working to save all the dogs that are being brutalized by the zombie drug addict thugs.
I think that ultimately it is the same people who are responsible for all this evil, strife and turmoil, namely the Communists who are our Satanic Overlords.
Thanks very much!

Laura your mention of the irrelevant inclusion of trans characters in novels reminds me of how annoyed I get at the huge percentage of black actors in commercials and mixed marriages. My son dates a lovely Haitian woman so that is not my problem. It is the unreal portrait of daily life in Canada. Must be great to be a black actor or multicultural actor these days with these commercial roles!
