On X, Will Coleshill shares the following inspiring picture of our longtime friend:

Sadly, Labour won this contest in the Makerfield by-election (placing the winner Andy Burnham on course to be the next prime minister...).
Club member Chris Davies observes:
Final thoughts on Makerfield.
Voter turnout increased 6.31%.
Restore Britain vote share 6.84%.
Could be coincidence but more likely people who don't normally vote chose to vote Restore.
3 uniparty members lost their deposits too so not all bad.

This was Restore's first parliamentary by-election - and, as Coleshill noted above, came on the heels of the release of the Rape Gang Inquiry Report led by Restore's founder and head Rupert Lowe.
Contrary to the concern of some, Restore was no spoiler in this particular race though they have had - as Mark is keen to observe - the effect of pulling Nigel Farage (Reform) further to the right than he would like to be...
Perhaps, most importantly, Lowe and his supporters have placed the scourge of Britain front and center on the political stage.
As Tommy Robinson brilliantly put it:
I have waited my entire life to hear a politician speak in this language https://t.co/vhqWbkJPgF

~ Indeed. And, it isn't just certain politicians in the UK speaking so boldly. Just, this week, in Brussels:
‼️ BREAKING NEWS: Major reform of Europe's migration system!
Just now, the @Europarl_EN finally adopted the Return Regulation.
It's a seismic step in tightening EU migration policy through stronger rules for returning illegal migrants.
Let's clap together! 👏 pic.twitter.com/Prm4SyFH88

~ On, the other hand, speaking out about the obvious cause and effect in some parts of Europe, could put you at risk for jail. Just yesterday, sexual assualt victim Thaïs d'Escufon, was handed a fine and a suspended prison sentence for simply stating "the main danger for women in France is Black African and Arab immigrant men" on French television. (Her lawyer has stated she will appeal on the basis of "Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, protecting freedom of expression".) In the prosecuted victim's own words:
Longtime readers know this is an issue near and dear to Mark's heart so here is a timely take from last year's Mark Steyn Cruise featuring Sammy Woodhouse (pictured above) along with Samantha Smith and Allison Pearson.
