Happy Presidents Day Weekend to our American readers!
Speaking of presidents, this is what I voted for:
Alongside President Trump in the White House's Roosevelt Room, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin announced the single largest deregulatory action in U.S. history. In this final rule, EPA is saving American taxpayers over $1.3 trillion, eliminating both the Obama-era 2009 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Endangerment Finding and all subsequent federal GHG emission standards for all vehicles and engines of model years 2012 to 2027 and beyond.
Predictably, Fake Nobel Laureate and Adjudicated Liar Michael E. Mann spoke against it. But then, funnily enough, he was removed from an Associated Press article as well as apparently canceled by CNN. As Steve Milloy observed:
There is some climate justice after all.
Let's hope this trend continues through the Court of Appeals and, ultimately, the Supreme Court. Thank you to our clubbers for keeping us in this fight. We will win!
Welcome and thank you to all our new, renewing and returning members from Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Auckland, Bedfordhsire, British Columbia, California, Cambridgeshire, Colorado, Connecticut, County Durham, County Wicklow, Dorset, East Sussex, Estonia, Florida, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kent, Kentucky, Lincolnshire, London, Maryland, Massachusetts, Merseyside, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Netherlands, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New South Wales, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Ontario, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Queensland, Saskatchewan, South Australia, South Carolina, South Dakota, Staffordshire, Sweden, Switzerland, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Victoria, Virginia, Washington, West Sussex, West Virginia, Wiltshire and beyond.
In addition to defending free speech one of the other benefits of membership in The Mark Steyn Club is access to Mark's ongoing audio adaptation of his bestselling book America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It. In case you missed it, here's last week's episode. A new episode will be available in a few hours time.
Meanwhile, in case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked at SteynOnline:
~ Steyn's Song of the Week included a nod to the Winter Olympics.
~ In Mark's Monday column, he delved into the Epstein files.
~ On Tuesday, Mark considered "The Day After Tomorrow". It was our most read piece of the week.

Plus, Mark shared a personal memory of Rush Limbaugh and the Super Bowl.
In case you missed it, here's the action replay.
~ In this week's Laura's Links, Laura Rosen Cohen contemplated "The End Game".
~ Mark's Weekend Notebook surveyed the land from Belgian stabbers to the scale of a certain aspect of the rape gangs he was not previously aware of...
~ On this week's edition of Mark Steyn on the Town, we celebrated Valensteyn's Day, ably assisted by vocal artistes from Doris Day and Keely Smith to Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan. Here's the action replay.
