Hello Mark,
From your May 8th column 'The Future Shows Up' you noted the following:
As my former GB News colleague Colin Brazier observed:
'Muslim Independents' projected to win more than 200 council wards. For future historians these elections may be a punctuation mark in our island story, after which the politics of mainland England more closely resemble the sectarian voting of Northern Ireland.
Could you please comment further on this "punctuation point." Seems rather important.
Robert
Will be renewing in the next day or so! Any comments on the banning of Prince Bishop Dominik Tarczynski, who skewered Kathy Newman in a video that's still occasionally viral? BBC revenge?

Hi Mark. Why do you think that getting justice for all the fraud that has been exposed in the states is taking so long to be brought to the legal system. Medicare/Medicare, SNAP and etc.? I see that the Democratic Party thinks it's a joke that the Vice President is revisiting the DOGE frauds that were pointed out to the public. I don't know anyone laughing about the waist these losers are responsible for. Will we ever get honest accountability? Thanks Doug

Greetings Mark and many thanks for finding the strength to run another Q & A with your loyal supporters.
I am sure you will be swamped with many comments about The War and Kweer Starmer so I will pose a question that's closer to home.
The dog- hating, Islamic, Democrat Commie Mayor of NY has been in office less than 6 months and already the City is on fire. In recent days we have seen Jew hating posses in Brooklyn rioting and disrupting services at various synagogues and gathering places.
Just the other day, a phalanx of 500 police officers was needed to protect a synagogue from a violent mob of masked jihadis carrying the flags of designated terror organizations.
When they say 'every issue is Palestine' and "globalize the Intifada" I guess this is what they mean.
What advice or predictions do you have for New Yorkers?
Toby Pilling
If you had to bet, who do you think will succeed Keir Starmer?
Brian Bennett
You and your old pal Victor Davis Hanson having a frank, open discussion about the war in Iran would be a gem that would elevate internet discourse to new heights. Two gentlemen discussing objectives, strategy and results in a gentlemanly manner would be one of the few things genuinely worth hearing on the topic. Laura as moderator? I bet if you jumped in, the water would be fine.

Hi Mark. Happy 9th birthday from a relatively new member (3 years and counting). I was fortunate to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace yesterday (I wasn't the one who received the formal invite - that was my wife for services to education and safeguarding children). I was half expecting Kier to turn up during the event to offer the King his resignation. In the event of what now seems inevitable, who do you think will be the least worst candidate to replace him? They all seem an unpalatable, talentless lot to me.

Dear Mark--
Recently, a 20-something liberal woman in New York City apparently refused to cooperate with prosecutors when she was attacked on the subway. That same perpetrator later pushed a retiree down the subway stairs, fatally injuring him. The young lass was quoted as saying, "Maybe a part of me was just like, I don't want to put another black man in jail."
I have mixed feelings about her quote. Her awakening gives me the tiniest bit of hope that awakening is possible. But I'm also furious about the irreparable harm that we all are suffering while we wait for people like her to wake up. Is this a microcosm of the West at large?

Dear Mark--
I read recently that Middle Eastern financing is behind a proposed takeover of Warner Bros by Paramount. That reminded me why I prefer to read Rick's Flicks than go to a movie theater anymore - the foreign money that dictates the messaging in Hollywood.
Will we ever see a movie about Tank Man (the guy who stood in front of the tank at the Tienanmen Square protests)? Or about a woman in China who woke up the morning after the one-child policy was reversed, after she went through three forced abortions? Or about anything with ChiComs or NorComs or al Qaeda - or even the Southern Poverty Law Center - as villains? Are we stuck with World War Eleven villains for the rest of time?
Catherine DeHart
Oh, my goodness Mark! Please, please, please take care of yourself. How will we continue to delight in pointing out the hypocrisy and hyperbole of the left if you aren't here to guide us? Just today, A Canadian candidate losing to an immigrant. Then griping that voter ID should be in place. In the US Capitol, their anger at the clean up efforts of the Reflecting Pool.. Sounds like they prefer it filled with filth. And of course in CA, where the guy who wants to clean up Los Angeles is accused of being a "Mini Trump".
Take good care.

Hello Mark. Please tell us more about your thoughts on people being banned from entering the U.K. Saturday for Tommy Robinson's latest Unite the Kingdom rally - as they've been classed by Starmer's government as "undesirable"?
Tim Boggs aka Midwestern Tim
Mark, I'm no pro-war neocon but do see some positives in our current skirmish with Iran. Isn't there value to be had in finally eliminating an enemy of the USA who for the past 40 odd years spent their time and treasure funding terrorists: Houthis, Hezbollah, etc.? Isn't it better for the US to disrupt the Venezuela, Iran, China, Russia, and Cuba partnership than ignore it?
I know we are sh!t at waging wars as of late (I spent two years of my life in Iraq with the US Army and so have some firsthand experience), but if we were to right the ship wouldn't the current battle against the aforementioned countries be a positive turn? Is your beef more with the fact that we wage war the military industrial complex way ($$$$$) and ignore the real battle for our soul at home, rather than the fact that not having an evil regime in Iran is a bad thing?

Mark -
What should be made of the meeting recently in Toronto, where Obama etal were bashing Trump and extolling the virtues of Carney's "pragmatism"?
It seems Obama is still quite powerful behind the scenes and as usual is given a long leash by the press.

Dear Mark,
The actress Claire Nielson died last week and she was widely known as the glamorous wife of the American visitor in the Waldorf Salad episode of Fawlty Towers. All the guest parts in the sitcom were brilliantly cast and beautifully played but we all especially delighted in the performance of Bruce Boa - never heard of before or since - as the 'assertive' American. I was given a box-set of Fawlty Towers years ago but decided I would put it away and save it for one of those 'window ledge' moments when life becomes too much and I feel like jumping. Even in the depths of a pit of despair I'm sure the sight of a psychiatrist asking Basil how often he managed it would somehow drag me back, giggling. What do you turn to in order to lift your spirits when your loved ones aren't around? And, like Bruce Boa, did it ever bother you being mistaken for an American while over here?
Wishing you safe passage, D.V.

Dear Mr. Steyn,
Senator of Wisconsin, Ron Johnson,is screaming from the roof tops regarding Covid vaccine injuries and the cover-ups by every level of media, medical establishment, governments, and the list goes on. Exposing the evidence of these atrocities the monsters like Fauci and the CIA is his goal, and claims he has the evidence. The damage is done, accountability to say the least, for just once, will we ever see it? Senator Johnson says we will. Anyway I know you are dealing with your health issues, among other things there, just thought I'd mention this. The fury and the outrage the frustration, the exasperation thats simmering in millions of people about this subject is very real. We're always being disappointed, and we are used to being disappointed in the lack of accountability. We will see what happens. Stay well and safe.
Cara

5,346 days on your Civilisational Deathwatch coundown, takes us to an elusive date, apparently plucked out of thin air, around Christmas 2040. You have openly admitted your strong bias to the hope-quenching, gloomy side of life, yet your actions, such as vacationing in heavily-droned Eastern Ukraine are those of a risk-taking optimist i.e. in thinking you could come back from such a dangerous place, alive. How do you square your innate gloominess with your 'Yes we can' actions? And if you do, why won't some people in the future be risk-taking optimists who will ensure that the lights do not, after all, entirely go out?
Texas Optimist
Hi Mark,
I continue to see too many positive outcomes for Epic Fury to be totally pessimistic. What are the odds that we won't vanquish Hezbollah from power in southern Lebanon, added to the Gaza Renovation, on top of the Abraham Accords? Wouldn't this be an improvement over the pre-2017 Middle Eastern dynamic?
Like you, Trump hates forever wars, so it is clear that Lindsey Graham will go unsatisfied by this operation – a plus. And after Trump pitches a new economic model to the Chinese Party, I expect him to start showing his Iran cards, which could actually be a good hand. I expect to be intrigued at least.
Please take care of yourself.
Pat Smith
Hi Mark,
Good to hear your health will allow for another hour and a quarter. Now that your back in or near Hungary can you tell us if the Magyar Migration has begun? Have your comely Mittleuropean nurses begun stuffing themselves into body length sacks? That is usually the first step.
Chris Davies
Mark,
I hope you are well.
Have you been banned from entering the UK yet?
If not, why not?
Surely, you must fall into Stalin's definition of "not conducive to the public good"?
Keep well Mark.
Wes Whitten
Mark,
Any thoughts on the recent winners of the Nobel prize for physics and their assertion that we actually live in a simulation? I can't decide if I should be comforted by this or not. If this world is akin to a video game, it's the worst one I've ever played.
Godspeed, Mark
