The hundredth day of a presidency is an arbitrary and meaningless yardstick, but everybody seems to be going to town on this one. So we thought it might be fun to revisit this edition of The Mark Steyn Show from Inauguration Week and see how his preview of forthcoming attractions holds up.
First up is Mark's opening monologue, looking at the Democrats' rejection of President Trump's legitimacy - something which has only intensified in the last three months. Next, former presidential candidate Michele Bachmann talks about what she hopes to see from the Trump Administration - and you might enjoy seeing how her priorities have fared a hundred days on. Finally, Steyn takes us on a tour of some famously disastrous starts to presidential terms of the last two centuries. Click below to watch:

I would rather not say you are are "wrong" regarding America not using the term "Ensign" as a reference to our flag - but we do and we have. Every ship I served aboard during my 32 years of active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard referenced our U.S. flag as "the Ensign." (Even when I was an Ensign - it became a bit confusing.) Also, we too have a Union Jack - but it is all blue with a field of (now) 50 stars and is flown at the bow when moored or anchored.
Bottom line: We may not have been first with regard to having and using "Ensign" as reference to our national flag - but we did and we do.
Later . . .
