So there will be more empty seats round the Christmas table this year, after an "Australian citizen" mowed down pedestrians at the junction of Flinders Street and Elizabeth Street in Melbourne. The casualties include "a pre-schooler with serious head injuries". The "Australian citizen" (I presume this designation is being used to emphasize that he's entirely eligible to serve in Mr Turnbull's cabinet) did it deliberately, but relax, lighten up, there's no need to worry because, according to Victoria's police commissioner, all this terrifying terror is "not terror-related".
So he's not a crack operative with the Islamic State's Australian branch office, he's just, as The Age's cheery headline writer puts it, "of Afghan descent and mentally ill". A second man, arrested while filming the scene and found to have three knives in his bag, is believed to be nothing to do with the first man. Just another Australian citizen taking his knife collection out for a stroll.
You'll recall there was a previous "vehicle attack" in downtown Melbourne earlier this year, after which the authorities ordered up the bollardization of every pedestrianized precinct in the vicinity. As Andrew Bolt writes:
All the bollards put up after six people were killed in Bourke St Mall in January have not stopped this.
After the Halloween jihadist killed eight people on a bike path in Lower Manhattan, New York's bollardizers commanded similarly extravagant installation of Diversity Bollards up and down the city. As I wrote:
Last week I was tootling through Williston, Vermont, which has just reconfigured its highway system to run green-painted bike paths down the center of the streets. And the thought occurred to me that, once you've bollarded off every sidewalk, what's to stop jihadists mowing down cyclists? After all, if the eco-crowd are installing them in the middle of the roadway, they're kind of hard to bollard off.
I was over-thinking the issue. One of the problems with bollarding off pedestrians behind a wall of Diversity Bollards is that they still occasionally have to emerge from behind the bollards to cross the street, and it's hard to bollard off a pedestrian crossing. In this case, the non-terror-related Australian citizen simply waited until the little green sign indicated it was safe for pedestrians to cross the street and then floored it. In an amusing touch, his car eventually came to a rest against a bollard.
What's the solution? Maybe automobile manufacturers could replace airbags with Diversity Bollards timed to inflate whenever non-terror-related drivers with mental-health issues accelerate near pedestrian crossings. Or perhaps it would be easier to issue citizens of western nations at birth with an individual ring of bollards to wear about their persons at all time, starting with when they leave the maternity ward.
Alternatively, instead of attempting to ring-fence every potential target - ie, everything and everyone - with Diversity Bollards, we could try installing bollards where they matter - around the civilized world. To reiterate what I reiterated last time:
I don't want to get used to it - and I reiterate my minimum demand of western politicians that I last made after the London Bridge attacks: How many more corpses need to pile up on our streets before you guys decide to stop importing more of it?
If your congressman or senator says that's not on his agenda, what he means is he's willing to sacrifice you and your loved ones in the suicide lottery of diversity.
~Speaking of non-terror-related Muslims, there's a hot new hashtag trending in Britain called #AVeryMerryMuslimChristmas. This derives from the title of a new report by Westminster's All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims. "A Very Merry Muslim Christmas" purports to demonstrate that almost all Christian charity in fact comes from Muslims:
What we hear even less about is the 'Muslim Merry Christmas'. The soup kitchens, the food banks, the Christmas dinners, the New Year clean up – work Muslim charities will be busy doing during the Christmas period.
Yeah, you Islamophobes thought that the "Muslim Merry Christmas" consisted of shooting up churches in Egypt and Pakistan, and mowing down shoppers in Berlin markets and Melbourne intersections, and self-detonating at Port Authority Bus Terminal. But you've got it all wrong: Allah is the reason for the season. Without him, this whole Christmas thing would be a total bust.
I have written before of Islam's need to control the public space. Sometimes that means homicidally so - as in Melbourne and New York and Berlin and Nice and London Bridge and Westminster Bridge... But there is also a slyer and in some ways more provocative pressure to dominate the public square. As I wrote a couple of November 11ths back:
Not that many western Muslims want to shoot soldiers or stab the Queen. But those that don't are, albeit more subtly, engaged in acts of "disruption". Even the supposedly "Islamophobic" Daily Mail promoted this one as a feel-good story:
'British Muslims are being urged to wear a new 'Poppy Hijab' – as a challenge to extremist groups who 'spout hatred' about the Armed Forces.
'The scarf is backed by mainstream Muslim groups including the Islamic Society of Britain and profits from its sale will be donated to the Poppy Appeal.'
Well, that's very nice of them, I'm sure, and the ladies look very charming in them. But, if they wished to reject "extremist groups" and support the armed forces, why couldn't they just wear the same poppies that everybody else wears? Why does a communal ritual observed by the Queen's subjects in every corner of the earth - Canadian, Bermudian, Tuvaluan, black, white, Protestant, Hindu - have to be Islamified to accommodate them?
There's something deeply narcissistic about this: Just as every Muslim terror attack is really about the entirely imaginary anti-Muslim backlash that never comes, so everything else has to be about Islam, too. In some ways, "A Very Merry Muslim Christmas" is an even more audacious act of narcissism. Yet the same PC policemen that think sensitive retailers should say "Happy Holidays" and municipalities should hold "Winter Festivals" are delighted by #AVeryMerryMuslimChristmas and are hashtagging up a storm. If the novelist Lionel Shriver wears a sombrero in Brisbane that's "cultural appropriation", but "A Very Merry Muslim Christmas" is just heartwarming and inclusive. No "appropriation" to see here - are you paranoid or something?
Exactly a decade ago, I wrote in Maclean's (which has since hosed the link):
There seems to be some kinky kind of competition on the Western left to be, metaphorically speaking, Islam's lead prison bitch.
On the evidence of the fawning approval of #AVeryMerryMuslimChristmas from British MPs, university profs, Fleet Street columnists, minor celebrities, Anglican clerics, etc, the competition for that title is pretty intense. Almost everyone who matters in the west's ruling class thinks that the solution to Muslim terrorism is things like a Merry Muslim Christmas. No, it's not: That's just a way to get to the same unhappy ending with fewer body parts.
~If you want Christendom in a nutsell, New Zealand reader Indra Hughes sends along this photo from the non-terror-related terror scene:
That's the scene in Melbourne. At street level, the area is cordoned off. Thousands of law-abiding citizens are disrupted in their daily business by an Australian citizen "of Afghan descent and mentally ill". At the far corner, that's St Paul's Cathedral. Can you see the banner they're displaying three days before Christmas? Anything about Jesus? Christianity? No. Instead:
WELCOME REFUGEES
In that post-Christian void - the shell of a church with faith in everything but itself - a very merry Muslim Christmas makes a perverted kind of sense.
With apologies to the late Johnny Marks, all together now:
Have a Merry Muslim Christmas
It's the best time of the year
I don't know
What time I'll blow
I've strapped it to my rearHave a Merry Muslim Christmas
And as you drive down the street
Say goodbye
To folks who'll die
All splattered on concreteOh-ho
It's time to mow
Down people in your car
Infidels wait for you
Allahu Akbar!Have a Merry Muslim Christmas
And in case you're still not dead
Oh, it's merry
Have an incend'iary New Year
Instead!

Je suis Charlie Bollard.
Perfect - would they pop up for five minutes after every attack and then silently fade away......?
Dear Mark,
What incensed me the most about this latest Islamic terrorist attack, was the response from our spineless, bedwetting PM. His solution was to condescendingly tell us to make sensible decisions about coming and going in the course of our daily lives. These poor people were crossing the road when the green man gave the okay. What possible other decision could they have made, other than to treat the public space as a war zone and anticipate being mowed down or blown up at any time in any place. He said we should go on as usual and not to let this make any difference to the way we behave. The problem with this kind of thinking it is based on the old British notion of a stiff upper lip during World War II. But Churchill had the nation's citizenry doing everything they could stop the enemy. Turnbull is doing absolutely nothing to prevent the enemy from moving in. Nothing to see here folks, just more wounded, maimed and murdered. I didn't go into Melbourne city thus year, I've a friend in the intelligence services who suggested some time ago that it was too hard to protect the public, there were too many terrorists to monitor them alll. There was a plot to blow up St Paul's Cathedral, last year, but ironically it's now a haven for the resentful socialist Christians who are more worried about global warming and bringing in anti-Christian refugees than saving souls or preaching the truth.
Kind regards
Jackie
In the post Christian void, "Welcome refugees" on the church banner, is symbolic of all that has gone wrong with Western Civilization. These are the people that are supposed to have the moral authority and will, that restrain the God haters from having their way with us. The Jesus Christ who condemns Law breakers and evil doers to eternal punishment is not the mushy love and compassionate Jesus taught today in the churches across America. That is love and compassion without the Ten Commandments. In reading the Gospels, Mark, one sees that Jesus argues and makes His case with authority, and also wins every argument. Pointing out the immorality of open borders and warning of the consequences is being like Jesus. But, the churches dont do that as they have decided across the globe they have a superior message, love without the Law--progressivism. On that note, one of the best Christian leaders we have is Robert Jeffress, who was on Fox last night proclaiming the message of the season that mans premier need is a savior. This simple message lacks authority and hasn't been working so well as it is implemented by "sharing the faith". Jesus' last Commandment was "Go and make disciples and teach them all I have Commanded you"--no boundaries or borders. Go offend people and make trouble for the PC crowd. Real live Bible thumpers would relish this fight, and have no problem with an imperialistic Faith that has the will, and folks who are serious about it.
Your the best Mark. Merry Christmas ... in spite of those who want to see us dead.
He did tell us that the beast would overcome the saints. Everyone is seeing it. Few perceive it.
Fake news alert. Get your facts right mark. The bollard he hit was not a racist bollard but some random bollard from a previously romantic age. It was a non-profit intentional bollard. Cheers
Oh how you laugh..I live over a thousand kilometres from this incident..on a lovely rural twelve acres. I'm taking no risks with my children. I've placed bollards all round my house cows pool and any other place we could be mowed down! All good cheers merry Xmas!
The CBD equivalent in San Francisco is Union Square, named, hard though it may seem to believe now, for the city's support of the union during the Civil War. In the center of the square is a monument to Admiral Dewey, similar to the monument to Admiral Nelson in London's Trafalgar Square. The bollards are their monuments, placed in our squares. They are probably badges of honor and will become notches on the gun.
I went down the other day to Pier 14, where Kate Steinle was killed. There's a bench for her there, under which a single candle was burning, with a brass sign affixed that says, "'Whatever's good for your soul... do that!' In loving memory of Kate Steinle"
The bench sits at the edge of the San Francisco Bay, where ships pass in the distance. Kate was shot in her spine and her words, "Help me, Dad," called to my mind Admiral Nelson's last words, "They have done for me Hardy, my spine is shot through." And I thought, he died fighting for his country; she died because of her country.
Tucker's show tonight put the lie to the notion that illegal immigration is not a major cause of crime. These are the consequences of sanctuary cities.
Here in Melbourne, our hard-Left government, as in Europe, has used "mental illness" as the catch-all cover story for Muslim attacks - this afternoon as I write, glimpses of truth despite government/police obfuscation are being revealed - the guy is an "Australian citizen" Muslim Afghan "refugee" making admissions from hospital concerning his anger about injustices against Muslims, there is now video of the weaponised car accelerating and aiming at helpless peak-hour pedestrians and so on as we have seen globally from Islamic terror cells. But because our "authorities" last night dismissed the terror angle, it's off the front pages everywhere. Just another "tragedy" but nothing to see here folks. I am so so angry at how we are lied to about the entrenched Muslim terror amongst us.
I hear them use that phrase and think, "That's about right." Importing terror to root and grow makes as much sense as bringing in people with communicable diseases that have been eradicated in the West, which is probably also happening.
A variation on the usual police/ political/ media mental contortion:
i) Police "have ruled out terrorism" (note: without so much as interviewing the perpetrator), though....
ii) Mental illness is definitely known to have played a part (including a "missed mental health appointment" when conducting the attack), therefore...
iii) It is proposed that driver licences for the mentally ill "be reviewed", however...
iv) Subsequently, the driver is found to be unlicensed (due to various driving offences), and...
v) The driver makes "utterances about the mistreatment of Muslims" when interviewed; other evidence is being examined, therefore....
vi) "Nothing should be ruled out", though note that....
vii) Bollards can't prevent every attack, but in any case...
viii) The attacks of most concern relate to the potential backlash against the real victims.
Recommendation: Robust, standard-issue bollards that reflect our strength as a multicultural community. Inscription to read- "Diversity Bollard".... "#NothingToDoWithIslam".
Bollards are much worse than doing nothing. At Restoration Weekend, Mark focused on the fact that will wins wars. Obama and Hillary liked calling Gitmo a recruitment poster for al-Qaeda and the boys. Bollards are a psychological victory whose presence will be a constant, concrete reminder of how weak the will is in the places that install them, where terrorism is also excused. Cities that do this are advertising to terrorists that they are sanctuary cities.
Very good, Kate! I particularly like the "Diversity" bollards. However, I'm a little surprised that Muslims haven't taken offense at the idea of the bollards and demanded they be removed.... yet. In case you weren't aware, blacks in Philadelphia are offended by bulletproof glass barriers at businesses and the city council there has passed an ordinance making such barriers illegal.
Enjoy the bollards while you can.
Thanks Steven- but I borrowed it. Signed all over by the phraseologist!
God bless you Mark, and God save the rest of us----loved the Merry Muslim Christmas!
I called my kids, thinking they might have gone Xmas shopping. They eventually got back to me OK. One went to the beach, the other working late... fortunately.
It's like there are wolves in sheep's clothing out there just waiting for the moment to bite. The sheeple around these characters are actually community minded and caring people that carry with them a meme-set that nuclear fission like, 'pop', and a previously sheep, is converted into a wolf. The ABC skilfully recasts the terror into tragedy into something about not being islamophobic. I watched 'The Handmaids Tale' ... 'praise be' they say, well, gradually the lights of freedom are being winked out here too
The latest on the Australian citizen.....Police say the man who crashed his car into Melbourne pedestrians yesterday has blamed "the mistreatment of Muslims" for "some of his activities".
This opens up so many possibilities: A bus made for the purpose called something like the Jihad Express for political leaders to less figuratively throw its citizens under; Instead of billiards, a game of Bollards, like the video game Frogger, where you inch across multiple lanes in gaps of heavy traffic to try to survive to the other side. This could be rebranded as the Muslim council on physical fitness, with benefits society-wide from the sprinting across intersections.
We are not born bollards. We choose to be bollards.
It is becoming clear that many people will trade loved ones, personal safety, and hard-fought freedoms for the right to make an obedient virtue signal safely in front of innumerable bureaucrats.
They reason that empty seats at the table are a small price to pay today for the immense reward of personal safety from our own countries' leadership. Who knows how we might have offended an elite-favoured identity group?
In the bad old days of the World Wars, there might be an empty seat at the table at Christmas due to hostile powers. Today it is our own governments we need to fear.
We are not born bollards. We choose to be bollards.
~ the epitaph of the West, chiseled into a bollard tombstone.
And here I thought there would be a song parody of "We Are The World" with "We Are The Bollards" but knowing how Mark is a stickler for rhymes and keeping the cadence, his "Merry Muslim Christmas" is more fitting.
Mark quotes from his 10 year-old Maclean's article, "There seems to be some kinky kind of competition on the Western left to be, metaphorically speaking, Islam's lead prison bitch."
Maybe it is because I live in North America and don't have enough details to compare with the rest of the world but it seems to me that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has won the title with a $10 million payout to Omar Khadr, inviting illegal immigrants to cross from the US into Canada, with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as their baggage handlers no less, and welcoming Canadians who left to fight with ISIS, back home.
That payout equals 200 years of earnings by an ordinary Canadian working stiff. It was beyond obscene. Liberals can pay me back every cent I have ever contributed in taxes over my lifetime before I would consider voting for them.
Mark has the rare gift to simultaneously compel me into heaving belly-laughs while also pushing me onto the precipice of clinical depression. I keep reading because the clinical depression part of the bargain comes from the reality of current events more so than from Mark's accounting of them. I'm in Mark's debt for at least making it so very funny as we go.
Most immigrant home countries are homogeneous, with the scourge of white privilege nowhere in sight. White-privileged nations, OTOH, are homogenophobic. Celebrate perversity!

Personal portable bollards! When one must venture from behind bollardized security zones, byo-bollards for protection on the go. Of course, the going will be slow, moving the bollards with you, but which is longer: the time it takes to shift, say, three bollards, one after another, across a busy intersection--or eternity? It's too late in the Christmas season for a line of Steyn-shaped bollards, microphone in hand, reaching for that high note in a power ballad, but New Year's Eve is another target-rich opportunity for the vehicular jihadist.
During WW2 Australians were known to be brave and fearless fighters, it was just 85 years ago in historical time frame it is just a flash. I wonder what has happened to change the mentality of a nation from warriors to docile pacifist that can be slaughtered like sheep. I am not very knowledgeable about Australia but what struck me at that time was the muted response of Australians to the murder of 88 of their countrymen in 2002 Bali bombing. Was that their 9/11 that deflated their psyche?
Fair dinkum.
When it comes to Bollards, Las Vegas is going "all-in."
"We are the bollards we have been waiting for."

I sometimes wonder if the present Pope wasn't installed by a back room coup of leftist Cardinals. It would certainly seem that way, and the banner on the church in the photo is just another example.
I never thought that I would say this but I am afraid that I will have to disagree with G.K. Chesterton and his famous quote - ""When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing in anything." Sad to say, Chesterton was wrong.
Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the elites in the good old United States are now dominated by people who truly believe in "nothing." Whenever one of the "incidents" such as the one pictured above occur the reaction is always the same - People look at their shoes, shuffle a bit, murmur a few comforting platitudes and then move on. "Nothing to see hear and please don't get the wrong idea about what's going on." Look at the leaders of the worlds most important democratic nations - May, Macron, Merkel, Turnbull, Trudeau and the PM's of the Scandinavian nations. Do any of them look like they are willing to die in the last ditch to defend the West, much less defend Christianity? (Full Disclosure -- I don't know where Trump stands in all of this.) Legend has it that the the last Byzantine Emperor, Constantine XI, tore off his purple and waded in to the hand-to-hand fighting at the point where the Ottomans made their final breach in the walls of Constantinople. He was killed as the Turks took the inner city. (That's the John Julius Norwich version. Some accounts say he committed suicide.)Try to imagine Justin Trudeau making a last stand inside the walls of Ottawa.
The West has bought the idea that a bundle of state-sponsored "programs" is enough to substitute for actually having faith in something. I am completely certain the if the Archbishop of Canterbury was faced with the choice of losing socialized medicine or of shutting down the Church of England for good he would happily accept the latter. Islam knows this and is moving ahead with increasing confidence. I don't blame them. They can see that our so-called "leadership classes" have either given up or or are in the process of giving up. They also really don't like the people that they are supposed to lead. .
I know club comment rules generally discourage comments that are "just a link," but here's a bit of competition to Mark's little ditty: The Most Wonderful Form of Jihad.
I liked that one, as well as the one that was suggested to play right after it. Apparently it is from last year but it is still good, "The Most Wonderful Time in 8 Years!"
I've been reading a very interesting book, "The Demon in Democracy" by the Polish professor Ryszard Legutco.
He writes about the similarities between communism and liberal-democracies and how after the fall of communism it was the "former" communists who were embraced by the liberal-democrats and it was the anti-communists who were scorned. Both system are Utopian. Neither system can tolerate dissent. And neither system can admit when it is wrong and when it is failing its people.
In the new, new remake of Planet of the Apes, the human astronaut won't stumble upon the Statue of Liberty but instead will stumble upon a street lined with bollards.
Merry Christmas
Narcissistic indeed, Mark. One is tempted to say of the Poppy Hijabs and AVeryMerryMuslimChristmas appropriation... "It's not about you."
But in our mass-group-delusion rush to invert the truth, "It's not about Islam" instead applies to every glaringly obvious death-to-the-infidel slaughter, week in week out.
As always, the usual dissembling means that the "deliberate act" of "evil" is excused by some alleged element of "mental illness" (drug-induced or other craziness). The pattern is now so entrenched, it seems unlikely we'll ever get real and acknowledge that of the broad psychiatric classifications- sad, mad or bad- Islam is the latter, and we're the delusional ones.
The poppy hijabs remind me of the white poppies that were a thing, a while ago. You put it appropriately, "It's not about you."
Nice comment Kate.
It's a sad day for those families in Melbourne. A merry Muslim Christmas does now make a kind of sense. They could call it #merrybloodyChristmas.
The other day I saw, in un-jihad-ravaged small-town America, a small, square bumper sticker that said, "REFUGEES WANTED." I can't be sure, but I suspect the driver had about the same acquaintance with the Middle East as with Tibet.
Virtue signal received and retransmitted. The battle for the mind can be won without firing a thought.
WANTED as in the posters one used to see at US post offices?
Alas, the "I am one step ahead of you on the path to enlightenment" kind.
Mark,
Did you write this song yourself or did you borrow it from someone? Regardless, it is brilliant!!
Mark replies:
What do you mean - "borrow it"? Of course I wrote it myself. As the art dealers say, it's signed all over.
I too enjoyed the song, as well as the humor in this article. Nowhere else will you get this quality.
Yes in hindsight, especially as a huge fan of yours, I guess shouldn't be surprised or question that you wrote something of such high quality in such a short amount of time. Your wit is among the quickest I have ever seen.
Curse you! Now your lyrics will echo in my head forever. Which is cool because the original is just lame enough to be ripe for parody.
Grandma got run over by a Muslim
Walking home from our house Christmas eve
You can say there's no such thing as Jihadis
But as for me and grandpa we believe!
Well played. Lol.
Look closer and the sign claims: "Let's fully welcome refugees."
I think the word they were going for there was "foolly."
I just happened to be reading Mark on line, eating my breakfast in my home office with the radio on, when my ears pricked up with the phrase "Australian Man" coming from the speaker. I focused, and sure enough the next part of the report was of driving over innocent people, but not to worry, not terror No, this poor guy (of Afghan heritage, or whatever) is afflicted with mental illness. When I read Mark's new report on this, I learned about the other guy filming this atrocity, armed with knives. I can't wait for the final Aussie report on this. The sign on the church was an inadvertent touch of black humor. This collapse of the Western world is worse than watching a train wreck in slow motion. It is literally sickening to watch.
'Tis indeed, 'tis indeed.
Dead on Cal man: Islamist's and their loyal supporters on the left have already prevailed on this issue. Who are they? Just the entire Democratic party - virtually all of the broadcast and print media save Fox - more on that to follow - academia from grade school on - and of course Hollywood. Even on Fox you'll see little criticism or any real discussion on what devout Muslims believe or what the Qur'an teaches. "Dubya" started us down this road when he spoke a few days after 9/11 and completely absolved Islam of any blame for the mass murder of 2,987 of his fellow Americans. I'm pretty sure many supporters on this wonderful web-site shared my slack-jawed reaction to that incomprehensible nonsense. When the Jerusalem embassy vote comes up in the U.N. watch virtually all of the western world side with Muslims. You'll never hear Theresa May nor any other European leader admit it - but Islamists have been granted the "rioter's veto' on any issue involving Israel. Better to appease and keep the peace than stand up for the Jewish homeland. Mark had it right when he wrote his all too prescient great book "America Alone". We won't stand alone much longer though. As soon as the democrats regain power America will join the Europeans in the brave new world.
"Merry Muslim Christmas" conjures up images of the sweet baby Muhammad lying in a manger. Maybe they could pint up some posters or something to that effect?
Well Jesus was a Muslim, wasn't he? I mean, Islam is the sole source of anything good, or so they claim.
I nominate "Diversity Bollard" as phrase of the year. Keep up the fight Mark
I heard Mark use it on the recent audio Q&A, and thought the same... just brilliant!
Indeed.
Every so often, Mr. Steyn manages to outdo himself. Bravo and thank God for Mark Steyn!
Mr. Steyn's preternatural muse (if that isn't redundant) charmed me out of my membership dough, even if it is redundant.
That is the best money you will ever spend.
It's inevitable that in Europe there will be a rise in nationalist, anti-Islamic sentiment. I know that UKIP in the UK opposes unfettered immigration. May I suggest, if we must inevitably accept the rise of reactionary, vigilante movements, they call themselves.. "Bollards" to commemorate the myopia that forced their coming into being?
If people accost and accuse them of being "racist" or "white supremacist" they can say "No sir, I'm not a racist... I'm a BOLLARD!". The left wing ideologues won't know what it means.
That's the right way to approach it to de-fuse the migrants and the charges of racism.
I agree Andrew. It's been delayed in coming, but it will come - some sort of war to protect their own culture, which goes back thousands of years in Europe. People don't like going to war, they won't until they have no choice. I don't think that Europe and Western Civilization is going to fade into the sunset. Perhaps when Sweden becomes a minority of Swedes, and people see what is actually coming, that will be the beginning of the end of the Caliphate in Europe; or perhaps on-going terror attacks will bring in governments that will do something about it, Like Trump is. Then the Caliphate will recede to just being imposed in the Middle East - and that's when Islam will be reformed to being a non-violent religion, in it's Heartland, by Modern Muslims.
That's an excellent idea, and perhaps and even better prediction.
Yes, I wonder at how many older native born men in Western countries, who have spent 50+ years watching immigration transform their countries for the worst and heard the lies of a "religion of peace", who may have heard the doctor tell them of some awful growth in their bodies, decide to use their last minutes on earth to wreck revenge. What a jihadist may invent, another may use ...
The long habit of living may indispose us to dying -- but living in the West is going to get a lot less pleasant.
Will the lack of children and grandchildren and even wives for so many older men push things further that way?
It's a horrible experiment we're running to determine how much anarcho-tyranny the populace will tolerate.
