It's SteynOnline's sixteenth birthday, and we're celebrating with sixteen per cent off anything you buy at the Steyn Store, including Mark's bestselling books and CDs and our Steynamite Christmas specials and even digital downloads like the all-time greatest Christmas disco single. So just shop till you drop as you normally would, and the discount will be applied to your basket as you check out - but only through Monday.
We also have fifteen per cent off tickets for the first ever Dennis Miller/Mark Steyn tour if you enter the promo code HOLIDAYS - but, again, you have to book before midnight on Monday.
Meanwhile, in case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Mark:
~The week began with a celebration of Gordon Lightfoot's eightieth birthday and songs of rain and wrecks.
~Mark's Monday Notebook considered Theresa May's betrayal of Brexit: "Welcome to the Hotel Brexifornia" was our most-read piece of the week. Later on Monday Steyn joined Tucker Carlson to prowl around the three chambers of Ocasio-Cortez government.
~On Tuesday Mark started the day with "Fox & Friends", much to Media Matters' horror, and closed it out with a full hour of guest-hosting on "Tucker Carlson Tonight". Click below to watch:
You can find more from Steyn's Tuesday guest-hosting stint here.
~On Wednesday Mark returned to one of his favorite shows, "Varney & Company" on Fox Business, and then guest-hosted another edition of "Tucker Carlson Tonight". You can find the substantive content of the show here, but the hour concluded with a special pre-Thanksgiving round of the "Final Exam" news quiz:
~On Thursday Steyn offered his traditional Thanksgiving sampler through the years.
~On Black Friday Mark ended the week guest-hosting America's Number One radio show, and included a few thoughts on a seriously anti-globalist regime.
~Steyn's Weekend Notebook mused on a well-connected Saudi and a great BBC survivor. For our Saturday movie date he offered the new Freddie Mercury biotuner Bohemian Rhapsody.
Our marquee presentation was the latest nightly audio adventure in our series Tales for Our Time - Mark's reading of Baroness Orczy's classic tale of France's Reign of Terror, The Scarlet Pimpernel. Click for Part Ten, Part Eleven, Part Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen and Sixteen - or start right at the beginning and enjoy a good old binge-listen.
Tales for Our Time is made possible thanks to members of The Mark Steyn Club, for which we are profoundly grateful. You can find more details about the Steyn Club here. And don't forget our special Gift Membership, which makes a fine Christmas present, and this holiday season comes with a special personalized Christmas card from Mark and a handsomely-engraved gift-boxed USB stick with three of our most popular Tales for Our Time for your pal or relative to listen to in the car or perambulating through the wilderness or almost anywhere else. (The trio of tales is The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, The Time Machine and The Thirty-Nine Steps.) For more on our Christmas Gift Membership, see here.
A new week at SteynOnline begins tonight with our Song of the Week.
