Greetings to our readers around the world. Later today Mark will be presenting another entry in his series of Sunday Poems. Meanwhile, in case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Steyn:
~The week began with Veterans Day in America and Remembrance Day throughout the Commonwealth. Mark offered some thoughts on war and remembrance, and an encore presentation of a great poem from the Great War.
~Later on Monday a brand new edition of Mark's Mailbox pondered everything from Trumpian rhetoric to civilizational collapse via EMP attacks, a post-oil Middle East and a post-Christian Europe. Click below to watch:

Mark then joined Tucker Carlson to discuss a Berkeley philosopher's dismissal of rural Americans:
~On Tuesday, Laura's Links roamed the Internet from Swedish drag to non-binary gingerbread.
~On Wednesday Adam Schiff's impeachment hearings began in Washington. Steyn looked back at impeachment 1999 style, but found today's version thin gruel. His review of the latter was nevertheless our most read piece of the week.
~On Thursday Mark and Tucker contemplated one of the sadder aspects of impeachment coverage, and one of the jollier - Trump's impeachment shtick.
~On Friday Steyn hosted another Clubland Q&A taking questions live from Mark Steyn Club members around the planet on a range of topics from Donbas to Don Cherry. You can listen to the full show here.
Clubland Q&A is made with the support of members of The Mark Steyn Club. For more on the Steyn Club, see here - and click here for details of three live Mark Steyn Shows coming up in Montreal this week. We hope to see you there!
~On the weekend we like to avert our gaze from the grubby churn of politics and kick loose with music and movies. This week Mark celebrated a classic songwriting team of the last sixty years, and mourned John Cleese's lost England.
Much of what we do here each month, including Tales for Our Time, Steyn's Song of the Week and our Sunday Poem, we also do live and on water on our Mark Steyn cruises. We're thrilled that so many have already signed up for next year's Third Annual Steyn Cruise, with Michele Bachmann, Conrad Black and more. But, if you're thinking about it, please don't leave it too late. For more information, call +1 (770) 952-1959 if you're dialing from beyond North America - and, if you're calling from Canada or the US, it's 1-800-707-1634. Or you can email your query here.
Another week of print, audio and video delights at SteynOnline begins tonight with the second part of our salute to Alan and Marilyn Bergman. See you in Montreal on Tuesday.
