This coming week is a busy one for Mark. He'll be in Washington, DC for a special event to launch Tucker Carlson's excellent new book Ship of Fools and then heading to Montreal to embark on the sold-out Mark Steyn Club Cruise (with a brand new Clubland Q&A in between).
Meanwhile, in case you missed it, here's how the last seven days looked to Mark:
~The week began with a song (and dance) for the Florence-afflicted residents of the Carolinas.
~Mark's Monday Notebook considered GOP spines, second-rate schools, fourth-rate senates, a new political party in Canada, and whatever happened to touching shiny baubles. It was our most-read piece of the week. Later he joined Tucker Carlson to discuss Trump's declassifications and the latest twists in the Kavanaugh circus.
~Tuesday's SteynPost found Mark pondering the contradictions of Afghan policy near and far. Click below to watch:
SteynPosts is made with the support of members of The Mark Steyn Club, for which we are profoundly grateful. For more on the Club, see below.
~On Wednesday Mark checked in with John Oakley on Toronto's News Radio 640 for a tale of two Fords - and why Michael Moore is swimming Lake Memphremagog. Click below to listen:
~On Thursday Steyn was back with Tucker Carlson for another Kavanaugh update.
~On Friday Mark guest-hosted America's Number One radio show, in the course of which The New York Times reported that the Deputy Attorney-General had considered using the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump. You can find a few moments from the show here.
~For the weekend Steyn remembered a comedy writer who gave us the world's greatest Carry On gag and the plot of a global phenomenon. He also presented a brand new edition of Mark's Mailbox addressing everything from Saudi schemers to Aussie racists:
Throughout the week our marquee presentation was the latest nightly audio adventure in Mark's series Tales for Our Time - a race across Europe to prevent an Islamic uprising in John Buchan's Great War thriller Greenmantle. Click for Part Three, Part Four, Part Five, Six, Seven, Eight and Nine - or, for Steyn Club members, settle in for a good old binge-listen here.
Much of our content at SteynOnline this last year has been funded by members of The Mark Steyn Club. You can find more details about the Steyn Club here. And don't forget our special Gift Membership (not to be confused with our SteynOnline gift certificates).
In legal news, CRTV continue to deny that they've lost their suit against Steyn and to refuse to pay up and move on. For those interested, we've provided a handy guide to CRTV deadbeat Cary Katz's multiple lawsuits against Mark. We will update this page as the sleazy Katz adds to his swelling number of cases against Steyn, and link to the most recent court orders as soon as they're available.
A new week at SteynOnline begins tonight with our Song of the Week - and Part Ten of Greenmantle.
